Decent, affordable housing plays a key role in a family’s education, health, wealth, and well being. Habitat gives people a helping hand as they work hard to realize their dream of homeownership.
Depending on availability of land and funding, our home application cycle usually opens for one month annually. Time of year for this cycle is traditionally in the spring or fall.
Habitat homeowners must be:
- Able to pay an affordable monthly mortgage plus escrow and modest downpayment
- In need of better housing
- A first-time home buyer
- Willing to partner with us
To prepare for applying during an open application cycle you can email us to receive a SAMPLE application form. The sample form is NOT to be used as an official application form. It will merely be provided as a guide to the types of information and documentation required as part of the application process.
